6, Willow Cottage, Barton Road, Haslingfield

History of Willow Cottage

The cottage originally belonged to Willow Farm. The village mangle and old copper was kept in the modern garage. The oldest part near the road was originally lived in by two sisters; a third sister built an additional part.

The building was the original Post Office; the door was replaced by the second window from the road.
