Dales Barn, 5 Comberton Road, Barton

History of 5 Comberton Road

Listed Building:

Cottage. Late C18 or early C19 and renovated mid C20. Timber..frame, exposed, and brick infill. Longstraw thatch roof, hipped, and ridge stack.

In 1945 David Kindersley set up his first letter-cutting workshop here. In 1967 he moved to Chesterton Tower.
