St James, Stretham

History of St James

The photo shows the cross and church. According to Vanishing Cambridgeshire, p.167, the church yard wall was moved in 1926 and 1928 to allow for road improvements. The 15th century cross had had a flight of steps in the 18th century but these were removed at some point.
