Pumping Station / Museum of Technology
History of the Pumping Stattion Cambridge
The Cheddars Lane pumping station was built 1894-6 and operated as a combined sewage pumping and waste destructor station. It is now the Cambridge Museum of Technology. The octagonal chimney is 53 metres high.
It is a listed building.
