Riverside footbridge

History of Riverside footbridge

Designed by Whitbybird with the artist Gerry Judah in 2004-8. According to Pevsner’s Cambridgeshire ‘ a curved and angled deck braced to a single steel arch; like a non-tilting version of the admired Gateshead Millennium Bridge, but without the same spare elegance.’
