Harry Edward Longford: Acting Sub Lieutenant (E) H.M.S. Tynwald., Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died on Thursday, 12th November 1942. Age 39. Son of Harry and Emily Minnie Longford, of Cambridge. Commemorated on LIVERPOOL NAVAL MEMORIAL, Lancashire. Panel 4, Column 1.
HMS Tynwald was sunk by a torpedo fired by the Italian submarine Argo off Algiers.
