Originally designed for King Edward VII, the Park House on the Royal Estate at Sandringham was offered to the Leonard Cheshire Foundation by the Queen. Rattee and Kett were given the challenging task in the 1980s of capturing, by restoration, the elegance of the original house, whilst providing accommodation for 25 guests, many of whom would be severely disabled.
