6/9/1940: Death of Mr. W. H. Francis. A familiar figure in Cambridge, of which he was Mayor before the Great War, Mr. Walter H. Francis, passed away on Thursday at the age of 82. His home was at 3 Grange
Road and he had been in failing health for some time. Since the death of his brother (Mr. Musgrave Francis) Mr. Francis had been senior partner in the Francis and Co., solicitors of Peas Hill (Cam.News)
