A Wehrle and Sons, watchmakers and jewellers

1918

Sergeant Alfred Wehrle died 4.11.1918 of influenza. He had first joined the RAMC and then the Artists Rifles. Son of Alfred Wehrle of 19 Storey’s Way.


1927

John Dover Place

In 1932 John Dover Place took Dr Searle of Bridge Street to court accusing him of enticing away his wife. Dr Searle won.
