85 High Street, Warboys

History of 85 High Street

Buildings at the back of 85 High Street were used as a base during the war, the house of Percy Onyett. It was one of the few houses in the village to have a telephone.

Warboys at War 1939/1945 by Harold Shelton (1996) lists the members of the Warboys Auxiliary Fire Service force.
