George Painprice was a brewer in the second half of the 19th century with premises here.

By 1896, Treadway & Percy, Saracen’s Head, Churchgate Street

Acquired by Cutlack & Treadway and traded as the Soham Brewery in 1889.

The partnership was dissolved in 1897.

Ceased brewing 1926.
