History of 24 Wellington Street

The Museum of Cambridge has a collection of whistles that belonged to Harry Day. He lived in Wellington Street and died in 1966 at the age of 82. He played in public houses, at Midsummer and Stourbridge Fairs and at village feasts. He was well known as a step dancer.
