Narrow (Bridge) Street, Peterborough, from Market Square

Bridge Street/ Narrow Street, Peterborough

History of Bridge Street

At one point Narrow Street was only 15 feet across. Most of the buildings here had been demolished by the late 20th centry but the coat of arms over the bank is still recognisable today.
