WA sent this note in 2025:

Cambridge Independent Press 04 December 1875: Sudden Death. – A sudden death occurred on Friday night, the 26th ult., to Mr. James Start, of Bradmore street, who shortly after retiring to bed alarmed his wife by his stertorous breathing and inability to reply to her. Mr. Roper was quickly, but unavailingly, in attendance upon him. The deceased had been for more than 40 years foreman to Messrs. Watts and Son, merchants, Regent-street, and was much respected for his integrity, in addition to which his frequent services as a preacher in the surrounding villages, united, as they were, with an attractive Christian example, secured to him the esteem of many, both of the rich and poor.
