Early C17. Timber-framed and roughcast rendered with tiled roof and bargeboarding to crosswing gable end with shaped pendants to apices.

A serious fire occurred at the village of Barton by which almost the whole of the Manor Farm, with the exception of the house, was razed to the ground. It is supposed the drum of a traction engine after working for a considerable time, got very hot and some corn which was standing near by caught alight. A cart with horse attached was close by and the horse was taken out only just in time, being slightly singed. The cart was consumed by the flames. The men worked assiduously with buckets and water but their efforts were without avail and soon all the farm buildings were blazing. (Mike Petty)
