History of 101 High Street

Listed building:

Cottage, probably late C17, with C19 fenestration.

According to Cottenham in Focus (2002) three generations of the Rowell family owned this house from 1774 to 1892. In 1854 John Rowell and family emigrated to South Australia to become farmers.
