Listed Building:
Inn. C17, early C19 brick casing. Painted brick, modern plain tile roof. Rebuilt gault brick ridge stack and gable end stack of local brick to left hand.
According to ‘History of the Inns and Public Houses of Histon and Impington’ (1990), in 1806 the property was in the name of Thomas Hobson. It was popularly known as the ‘King Bill’.
1837 King William is owned by J Gotobed, brewers of Trumpington Street, Cambridge. Licensee Richard Papworth.
