Eric Stanley Jones, son of Charles Stanley and Olive Victoria Jones (Free) was born in 1923. He became a flight sergeant in Nav. 50 Squadron RAF Volunteer Reserve. He died 25/4/1944 and is buried in the Durnbach Ware War Cemetery in Bavaria. It seems likely that he would have been a crew member on a Lancaster bomber shot down during a raid on Munich.
