They have four children. Emily (7), John (6), Henry (4) and Cathleen (1).
The electoral register shows John living here until 1888 when the family move next door to number 8.
Head of Household is Samuel Reynolds, a 34-year-old, brewer’s labourer. He lives here with his wife Mary, 34, who was born in Grantchester.
They have six children. Mary is 12, Hannah is 10, Florence is 9, Ernest is 7, Ethel is 5. They are recorded as scholars. The youngest is 2-year-old Lillian. All the children were born in Cambridge.
The family are still here on the 1901 Census. Samuel and his son Ernest are both road labourers for an unnamed corporation. Lillian, now 12, is the only other child at home.
Samuel and Mary are both buried in Mill Road Cemetery. Samuel died in 1902.
