Listed Building:
Small Cottage. C18. Timber-framed and plastered and painted brick.
In 1881 Owen is living with his parents. His father, William Kefford, 51, is a blacksmith at East End. At the moment it is unclear whether his father is operating out of the same premises as Owen did later. In 1881 there was another blacksmith in the village on the High Street, John Pepper. He is probably the blacksmith shown on the 1885 OS map at the western end of the High Street.
