History of 59 St Andrew's Street

At this location were formerly two or three small tenements – one of which was long called ‘the Three Archers’. (Outside the Barnwell Gate – 1915)

Early 20th century: dairy and fruit shop

Circa 1970 this side of the street was developed to create the new Prudential Building
