History of 10 & 12 High Street, Swavesey
Listed building:
House, now two dwellings. Early to mid C18. Soft red brick reddened. Old plain tile roof with shallow tumbled gable parapets and end stacks both rebuilt. Lower range to south with corrugated iron roof. Two storeys and one storey, original symmetrical facade of three ‘bays’ altered in C19 by inserted doorway to left of main entrance. C18 six-panelled door with moulded and gauged brick arch and cornice.
