Marshall Kenneth Smith: Sergeant 570749 Flt. Engr. 149 Sqdn., Royal Air Force who died on Friday, 2nd October 1942. Age 21. Son of Leonard Frederick and Emily Gertrude Smith; husband of Evelyn May Smith, of Cambridge. Buried in JONKERBOS WAR CEMETERY, Netherlands. Grave 20. D. 6. Listed for St. Luke’s as E5.52.

He was flight engineer on a Stirling I that was shot down by a night fighter at Kronenberg 8 miles northwest of Venlo during a raid on Krefeld.
