Note from JK 2026:
Ann Emma Scudamore died in 1931 and Thomas Robert died in 1933 but the 1935 Cambridge directory registers the property to him and his eldest son (Captain) Percy Lewis Scudamore . Percy is identified as a foreign correspondent, accountant and insurance broker.
1939 Register:
Percy Lewis Scudamore, an accountant working on his own account is living at the house with three other men all of whom are doing related work in analysing, costing, invoicing -suggesting that his business is run from the house. After WW2 Percy moved to 98 King Street.
Percy Lewis Scudamore is likely to be the person identified as Mr P Scudamore who was Treasurer of the Cambridge Rowing Association for a number of years as detailed in Cambridge Evening News news paper reports of their annual meetings for 1907, 1913 & 1914.
