History of The Lamb

1850 The Lamb

At the time of the fire William Hayward had been lodging at The Lamb while working for Thomas Graves. Shortly after the fire he left the village. He was arrested at Linton and came before the County Court in May 1850. However in July the Gran Jury ignored the bill against him.
