Alfredo Kanthack

History of 2 Huntingdon Road

This was the home of Professor Alfredo Antunes Kanthack when he died on 21/12/1898. He was professor of pathology. His widow was Lucy Kanthack.

He carried out significant research into tropical diseases including leprosy. He was buried in Histon Road cemetery.
