CAMBRIDGE DON KILLED.

A fatal cycling accident, which caused the death of a well-known Cambridge don—Dr. John Percival Postgate, a fellow of Trinity College—occurred on Wednesday evening near his home at Cambridge. Dr. Postgate was cycling towards the town, and was about to overtake a motor lorry that was travelling slowly, when he suddenly swerved and ran into the vehicle, sustaining such severe injuries to the head and face that he died in Addenbrookes Hospital yesterday morning. Dr. Postgate, who was 73, had been a fellow of Trinity since 1878, and was a distinguished classical scholar.
