An Engine Fireman & a Whitesmith

1881

In 1881 James Joy is head of household.  He is 25 and an engine fireman on the London and North Western Railway.  Wife Emma is 26 and the couple have an 11 month old daughter called Kate.  James and Emma are from Bedfordshire, but Kate was born in Cambridge.

1891

Sarah A Neal, 23, b. Loughborough

Arthur E Neal, 1, b. Cambridge

1901

Ellen Miller, wife, 23, 1878, Cambridge – not head of household or widowed, so her husbnad must have been away on Census night.
Ellen G Miller, daughter, 1, 1900, Cambridge
Alexander Germany, boarder, 19, general labourer, 1882, Cambridge

1911

Jane Larkin, 65, widow, charwoman, b. Little Wilbraham

Ethel Larkin, 25, b. Chesterton

Jane records that she was married for 44 years and had six children, on eof whom has died.
