Probable location. The existence of Coote and Warren’s Coal Wharf later in the century at this location suggests that this is where the cottages were listed in the 1861 census. There were several unnumbered cottages at the time. In the 1881 census there are 6 cottages called the LNW Railway Cottages which may well have been the same buildings. The line of cottages is apparent in the middle of the 1901 map extract.
