The Railway Vue

History of the Railway Vue

A Disorderly House, (Barraclough 2018) describes the Railway Vue as the earliest inn  at the site of the junction of Station Road and Hills Road. It was immediately to the south of the maltings run by Charles Wagstaff and appears on a map of 1844.
