History of 5 Market Place, Whittlesey
This was the home of Harry Bark Hartley and Mary Elizabeth Thompson after their marriage in 1891. Two of their children were born here, Enid, in 1893, and Leslie, L.P.Hartley, in 1895.
In 1900 the family moved to Fletton Tower, Peterborough.
