History of 34 Millington Road
Four years after he had built no.95 Barton Road, Ben Hayward sold the house and bought a plot of land in Millington Road. “We built a house there – no 34 – but mother didn’t get out a lot, it was very quiet, so when this piece of ground came up for sale, we moved up here and built no.100 Barton Road just beyond and opposite no.95.”
