20 Stone Street, Cambridge

A Guard on the Great Eastern Railway

Number 20  is a terraced house on the north side of Stone Street.  It doesn’t appear on the 1891 Census.

1901-1910

Head of household in 1901 is Charles Youngs, a 57 year old railway guard from Witham in Essex.  He is married to Susan (nee Smith) who was born in Royston.  In 1891 the couple can be found living at 77 Sturton Street.

Charles lived here until Susan’s death in 1910.
