Market Hostel of King’s College

History of Market Hostel

According to Pevsner, the insertion of  this college residence in the central streets in 1960-2 was controversial, not least because of its Modernist style by Kenneth Capon of the Architects’ Co-Partnership

According to GW the bricks used were very expensive. They came from Belgium individually wrapped.
