The Electoral Register shows William Tebb living here from at least 1885.
On the 1891 Census he is recorded as a 43-year-old railway engine driver living here with his wife Eliza (43) and three of their children. Maggie (16), Harry Wright (14) and William Harold (9) are all at school. The whole family is from Nottinghamshire.
Harry becomes a Locomotive Stoker in Yorkshire.
By 1901 William is a widower, still driving railway engines and living with his daughter Maggie and son William. William is now 19 and a fitter turner.
William died in 1913.
