AQ sent a note in 2026: I was born in 1939 in Haslemere Surrey. My mother was Lilian nee Judge and married Wilfred QueenMy mothers mothers’ surname was Judge and she also had a son called Lewis who was a younger brother to my mother. I believe he was born approx 1910 -1920. Lewis Judge was married to Jean and they had two sons, Donald and Robert. Lewis Judge served in the navy during WW2. Not sure when he moved to Cambridge but would guess around early fifties but that is a guess but I do know that they were there in mid fifties. Lewis owned ( I think) the property at #1 King’s Parade and the ground floor was a restaurant that he and his wife managed and the family including my maternal grandmother lived upstairs. My last visit to Cambridge to see them was approx early 60s just before i was married and did not see them again as after my marriage in 1964 and with three young children in tow we moved to Canada in 1972.
