The Electoral Register tells us that the Banyard family lived here from 1880 to 1884. In 1891 they were living at 163 Gwydir Street, and in 1901 at 23 Gwydir Street.

On census night, Jessie Lyon senior was staying in Hauxton with her widowed brother and elderly mother – perhaps as a carer to her mother.
